AutoFill

1. Enter the beginning of the series in two cells: such as Jan and Feb; or 2014 and 2015

2. Select the two cells containing the series, and then drag the fill handle (click on + symbol) across or down the cells.

3. Or if you want to AutoFill a Series — Double click on the fill handle (+ symbol) adjacent to the range you want to fill.

a. Auto fill column A first with steps in 1. & 2. Above.

b. Double click on the fill handle (+ symbol) on B2. This will autofill the cells through your adjacent range (date) range.
