When you have a set of data and need to remove the blanks in between — don’t waste time deleting each row separately, whether you right-click “Delete” or Ctrl + “-”. There is a better way to remove all empty rows at once.

Manual Delete
  1. Select your range of data.
Select Range

2. Launch the Go To Window. Pres Ctrl + G or F5. Alternatively on the Home ribbon under “Find and Select” choose “Go To”

3. Click on “Special…” button.

Go To Special

4. Click on “Blanks” and then OK. This will highlight every Blank.

Caution — Make sure that there are no Blank cells in rows with data — the next step will remove all data from rows with blanks. Image 1 will correctly remove rows without data. Image 2 will remove rows 9 and 10 in the next step and all the data in those rows will be removed.

5. Click on Ctrl + “-” to Launch Delete Window. Click Entire Row and OK.

The end results — clean data with no blank rows.
